Combat Points are used only when fighting against other player characters, such as in the Colosseum or Guild Battles.
When damage is inflicted by Abilities or Unison attacks, that damage is first taken from CP instead of HP.
CP gauge values vary based on level and Class.

*Unlike HP, normal recovery effects do not restore CP.
